The details you need to Back the Backcountry!
Each November, the Backcountry Wilderness Area Fund celebrates another year dedicated to enhancing wildlife habitat and connecting more children with nature—right here in Highlands Ranch. Our annual Back the Backcountry fundraiser allows the Backcountry team to continue fulfilling its mission through generous donations and raffle ticket purchases, without raising homeowners' assessment fees.
When our community chooses to Back the Backcountry, it ensures that more than 1,000 infants and pre-K kids can participate in our free Sunshine & Storytime program, cultivating a love for nature from the earliest age. Monthly donations from Friends of the Backcountry allow us to offer twice-weekly, adult-focused nature walks through the conserved areas of the property. And by purchasing raffle tickets, you're directly supporting crucial habitat projects that keep the Backcountry Wilderness Area a thriving sanctuary for local wildlife. This is just the beginning of how your donations impact the Backcountry Wilderness Area and community as a whole.
We need your help to Back the Backcountry this month! Join us for the end-of-fundraiser celebration on November 14, from 6-9 pm, at Living the Dream Brewing Co. in Highlands Ranch.
